I feel this demo may have been a bit over-developed for lack of a better term. A lot went into it, and the surplus effort may have hurt it in terms of immersion. Madison looks and sounds fantastic and I can't wait to play the full version later this year. I'm sure they'll polish out the issues I had with it since the demo we are playing is three years old at this point. For those that prefer to watch than play, you can check out my experience here:

Totally agree with you, the game was completely re-started in 2019 to ensure a high quality title. So no doubts you will find HUGE differences between this demo and the full release!

This definitely has potential to be a great game. I like what I'm seeing here, but it's also confusing as hell. It felt like I would figure a part out and then the game came to a screeching halt until I figured out the next part. And repeated that until the end. I'm not complaining because I know it's not supposed to be easy. Just giving my experience with it. I'll keep an eye on this one for sure though. Thanks!
Hey! totally agree with you! (btw thanks for playing our demo). Let me tell you this was made in Early 2017, and the game has evolved a lot since then. You'll find a completely different experience in the full game. So don't worry about that, it is fixed by now!

A solid Demo if I do say so myself.. A bit slow paced but not lacking in scares. One problem that I do see is the Item rotation, it just feels a bit wonky.. Will be expecting a lot from the Full game.. Really Excited. Keep it up you guys!! Love what your doing <3

K, I need a full version cause it was SOO good. Can't wait. Starts @ 39:55. Had to restart it a couple times tho cause when i press ESC the game freezes...

other than the bug I encountered a few times when accessing the pause screen that caused me to have to exit the demo with, task manager and restart again. It had some things like the news popping on the small tv and other elements that really brought the world alive more than just being another house to walk through while getting scared. Looking forward to seeing the final product cannot wait to see what you do in the full game.
The bug was a couple of times once during gameplay and once right after I finished the demo I pressed escape to take me to the pause menu and for whatever reason, it would not let me choose any of the three choices on that menu.

This is one game I'm looking forward to this year. Not much of the story is revealed in the demo but the atmosphere, graphics, and plot alone are very intriguing. It reminded me of PT, Fatal Frame, and Resident Evil 7. I highly recommend you check this out.
loved this demo! great atmosphere, i love all the creepy sounds of the house creaking or the thuds in the walls and stuff, thought that was great. the story seems pretty interesting so far too! i love that the scares aren't too in-your-face also. personally the walking was a bit slow for my liking, especially compared the rate the mouse sensitvity. in my experience, after changing sensitivity, it would either be too much or too little. but other than that, just keep doing what your doing, because what you got here so far is awesome!
